Welcome to the official web site for Volleyball Hawke’s Bay. VBHB is a regional non-profit sports organization responsible for the development and provision of volleyball programmes activities and events in Hawke’s Bay. Our region encompasses central Hawke’s Bay, Hastings, Havelock North, Napier and Wairoa; all situated on the east coast of the North Island in New Zealand.
Volleyball Hawke's Bay is affiliated to our National organisation - Volleyball New Zealand and abides by the VNZ Rules and By Laws
Our office is based at Sport Hawke’s Bay at the Pettigrew-Green Arena in Taradale. The Pettigrew-Green Arena is also our main home ground where many of our indoor events and leagues are staged. This facility offers a wooden sprung floor with good ceiling height and up to seven courts under the one roof. We have many programmes in place for indoor and (outdoor) beach volleyball and cater for beginner social players through to competitive players. Children start playing at the age of 7 or 8 years and people can play well into retirement! Check out this web site further to see what we have to offer…..
