Interclub competitions
With only a few teams and clubs in Hawke’s Bay the only current competition is the Central Zone Club Competitions. Currently this involves playing in five 2 day weekend tournaments through winter against other central zone club teams. The central zone involves the area from Hawke’s Bay south to Wellington, across to Taranaki and everything in between. One of these tournaments is usually hosted in Napier by Volleyball Hawke’s Bay. Teams compete through the season for a central zone rank which they use to position themselves at New Zealand Club Nationals against other club teams from the Northern and Southern zones. Social Volleyball
Social indoor volleyball is played on 40 weeks of the year on Mondays at the Pettigrew-Green Arena. Mixed gender teams of varying abilities play in different divisions in four 10 week rounds each year. For more information contact us…
