Superleague General Information

Games are played at Rodney Green Foundation Arena/Pettigrew Green Arena, Gloucester Street, Taradale, Napier ​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Superleague Division's 1 & 2 is for volleyball teams in years 7-8 who have played at least one term of Superleague or KiwiVolley and have mastered the key skills of volleyball. This is played with a normal Mikasa V200W ball. 

Superleague Division 3 is for volleyball teams in years 7-8 that have limited volleyball skills and is played with a soft Mikasa kiwivolley ball. 

All divisions have teams of 6 players on the court at one time and is played on a full size volleyball court with nets set to 2.15m high.

Games Played at Hastings Sports Centre​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​Kiwi Volley is for volleyball teams in years 7-8 who are new to volleyball or still gaining experience.A team of 4 players (on the court at one time) use a soft Mikasa ball on a badminton size court with the net set at 2m high.

The rules are flexible with bonus points awarded for multiple plays of the ball before crossing the net. It offers a good understanding of the game of volleyball and allows players to master the key skills before progressing to Superleague.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
