Important Dates:  there will be 2 trial dates, which will be held at  Rodney Green Arena HB, Gloucester St, Taradale Napier

And we'll have a IPC Camp during School Holidays on 13th and 14th April, more information coming soon.

1. 1st Trial Wednesday 1st April 2026 - RGA HB, Gloucester Street - Taradale

Fee: $5 cash

Girls U17 and U19 - 5pm to 6:30pm ( Must know rotation 5x1)

Boys U17 and U19 - 6:30pm to 8pm (Must know rotation 5x1).

Open Men's/Womens - 8pm to 9:30pm

2. 2nd Trial Wednesday 22nd April 2026 - RGA HB, Gloucester Street - Taradale

Fee: $5 cash

Girls U17 and U19 - 5pm to 6:30pm

Boys U17 and U19 - 6:30pm to 8pm

Open Men's/Womens - 8pm to 9:30pm

4. Trainings Schedule: Wednesdays 28th April, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th May


Weekly Training - Early May till IPC Tournament 

VNZ IPC Tournament - Saturday 30th May to 1st June held in Wellington

(travelling Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June 2026)

Consideration for Selections-

  • A willingness and ability to work within the VBHB programme
  • Level of experience as a coach
  • The ability to work with and alongside VBHB's staff and volunteers


The selection panel is made up of the Volleyball Hawkes Bay Board and its Operations Manager.

All appointed coaches will be subject to the VBHB Code of Conduct. 

Once appointed, coaches will then sign an appointment letter and volunteer agreement provided to them by VBHB.​​​​​​​
