Venue All Divisions are played at Rodney Green Arena Hawkes Bay, 480 Gloucester Street, Taradale (front stadium courts 1 – 7; back stadium courts 8 – 19)
Game Day Division 1 & 2 Starts: Week 1 of Term 4, Tue 13, 20, 27 Oct, 3, 10, 17, 24 Nov, 1 Dec 2026.
Note for Div 1 & 2: 17 Nov games are dependant on team entries due to teams attending National Volleyball Tournament
Division 3, 4 & 5 (social): Week 1 of Term 4, Tues 13, 27 Oct, 3, 10, 17, 24 Nov, 1 Dec.
Note for Div 3, 4 & 5: No volleyball 20 October due to venue unavailable.
Grading Games Week 1 for all divisions
Please note VBHB reserves the right to promote or demote teams within divisions if they feel teams have been incorrectly graded so that we can provide good competition in all divisions.
Divisions Division 1 & 2: Two games, best of 3 sets. (One week 2 games, next week 1 game and 1 duty or the other way around).
Division 3, 4 & 5/Social: Two 30min games
- Division 1 may be restricted to one team per school.
- 12 players maximum per team for all divisions.
- Mixed gender teams from div 2 down are welcome, they are to play in the Boys divisions only.
- Game times are from 4pm-9pm

Cost Competition Fee $340
Team Membership Fee $ 78.75 per team *
*Team Membership Fee Volleyball Hawke’s Bay charges a $78.75 annual membership fee per team entering a school competition.
This fee is paid when a team first enters a Volleyball Hawke’s Bay competition during the calendar year and covers the team’s membership for the remainder of that year.
Teams do not need to pay the $78.75 membership fee again when entering another Volleyball Hawke’s Bay competition later in the same year, provided that the majority of players in the team are the same as those registered in the original team.

Late Entry - VBHB reserves the right to refuse late entries. If a late entry is accepted a $50 fee may apply. Teams withdrawn after closing date may be charged $100 withdrawal fee.
Eligibility All Players must be bona fide students from the school they represent.
